    A. First thing you must do is make certain that the driver admits that the damage is new and was not on the original bill of lading. The damage should unmistakably be noticeable and noted, then signed for by the driver. Upon completion of delivery you must call your auto transporter to notify them of the damage. Be certain, though, you have all the records to back up your claim – false claims can result in lawful action by the auto transporter.
